FocusPulse is a free productivity app. Your focus data stays on your device. We collect only anonymous analytics to improve the app. We will never sell your data — ever.
This policy applies to the FocusPulse Android app and this website. By using FocusPulse, you agree to the terms described here.
What we collect
📱 Stored on your device only (we never see this)
- Session start and end times
- Session duration preferences
- Focus scores and response times
- Vibration pattern preferences
- Theme preference (dark/light)
- Session history
📊 Anonymous analytics (via Firebase — Google)
- App opens and closes
- Which features you use — no personal data attached
- Crash reports (so we can fix bugs)
- Device model and OS version
- General location: country/city only — NOT precise GPS
All analytics data is anonymous. It cannot be linked back to you as an individual.
What we do NOT collect
We never collect:
- ❌ Your name, email, or phone number
- ❌ Precise GPS location
- ❌ Access to your contacts, photos, or files
- ❌ Microphone or camera access
- ❌ Browsing history
- ❌ Any personally identifiable information
Third-party services
FocusPulse uses Firebase (by Google) for anonymous analytics and crash reporting. Firebase may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
No other third-party services have access to your data.
Your rights
- Delete your local data: Go to Settings → Clear All Sessions in the app.
- Anonymous analytics: Your analytics data is anonymous — we can't link it to you specifically.
- Data deletion requests: Email us and we will respond within 48 hours.
Children's privacy
FocusPulse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through our app, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
Legal compliance
FocusPulse is designed to comply with:
- GDPR — General Data Protection Regulation (European Union)
- CCPA — California Consumer Privacy Act
- NDPR — Nigeria Data Protection Regulation
- COPPA — Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
